MY GOAL
My aim is to provide you with well rounded lessons that are always fun, engaging and productive. I believe that it's important to enjoy learning whilst also achieving your goals.
My lessons are for beginners of all ages (5+) and tailored to music that you love. I'm capable of teaching a wide variety of styles whether that's Video game music, Classical, Jazz, Pop, etc.
You name it, you'll learn it.

Student Lead Approach
At the start, we will spend some time figuring out your 3 major and 3 minor goals. We will refer back to this throughout the year and adjust accordingly.
This is done every so often to ensure that your goals are always accurate and best for you.
We do an end of year review together, and this will help improve us plan next years goals.

Tech Features
MyMusicStaff- This software is used as a parent/adult student portal for automated payments, cancelling/scheduling lessons, and seeing your/your childs calendar of upcoming lessons.
Vivid Practice- This is a student portal mobile app, used for practice. This is where I set assignments for all of my students and it uses a time based method to encourage practice.
If for any reason you don't want to use an app for your child/you, all assignments are easily printable in the studio for you!

Online Teaching. Any song, Anywhere
For older students and adults
I teach via Google Meet on Tuesdays to all of my online students. I have 3 camera angles to ensure you can see everything you need to so it's as close as possible to an in-person lesson.
Even though this is for older/adult students, this is still for complete beginners up to intermediate. There aren't many places that take into account that adults can be beginners too. As someone who started learning piano in my late teens, I understand how important it is to treat all beginners as beginners regardless of age

MY EXPERIENCE
I have over 5 years of experience as a pianist and performer playing at places such as Exeter Phoenix, The Cavern, Exeter University and more. I will use this to help you get the most out of playing to others and helping with performance nerves.
I've also had 5+ years of teaching experience in drumming, piano, guitar and ukulele.
